Visits are not permitted during liturgical celebrations.
The bell tower, rectory and sacristy cannot be visited at present.

Carrara Cathedral is a place of prayer. Visitors are asked to observe respectful behaviour towards the place.

Maintain a moderate tone of voice and avoid behaviour that may disturb the prayer or contemplation of other worshippers.

Appropriate clothing: wear modest and respectful clothing: long or knee-length trousers, knee-length skirts, covered shoulders for all.

Respectful behaviour during the visit: if you are visiting the Duomo as a tourist or for cultural reasons, maintain respectful behaviour and observe the rules regarding visiting and photography.

In the Duomo it is forbidden to make phone calls, smoke, consume food and beverages, bring in animals or bulky objects, move objects, touch the works.
